Significant Objects

I came across this website the other day and thought it was an interesting project- it is called significant objects. Basically the idea is that the curators find an everyday object a pair it up with a writer who then writes a ficticious story about it and then they sell both together on ebay. All proceeds go to the writer. It seems like an interesting attempt to combine theory, photography, writing and the internet.
